Aim: To support workers to understand and develop their role in improving health. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, participants will have:
- Raised awareness of different understandings of ‘health’
- Examined what contributes to and influences health
- Considered factors that lead to health inequalities and discussed evidence which can be used to inform decision making
- Explored the role of statutory and voluntary organisations, working in partnership, in creating the conditions for good health and well being and addressing inequalities in health.
Prospective Participants: Those with a professional interest in health improvement who would like to develop their understanding of health inequalities.
